Savannah- Mrs. Lela Grace Eason, 73, died, Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness.

Grace was a life long resident of Savannah, a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She will be remembered as a caring and generous person, always sympathetic to those less fortunate. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Ernestine Osborne of Vidalia.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Ottis Hale Eason of Savannah; sister, Patricia Osborne of Lyons; brother, Arlie Osborne, Jr. of Nevills and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service was previously held at the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors on Friday, April 25, 2008. Final burial will be at a later date.
